The Purpose of the Project
The project aims to improve the capacities of Industrial Production Platforms to reduce their carbon footprint impacts on climate change, to establish a sustainable communication and cooperation network on “climate change” and “green industrial production” between partner cities, and to increase the capacities of all stakeholders on climate change.
Main Activities
- Preparation of the CLIMPs Database (Climate Change Action Plan Model for Industrial Manufacturing Platforms), which can be a source for future project activities and researchs
- Preparation of CLIMPs Survey Report
- Compilation of good practices to promote mutual learning and knowledge exchange between the Industrial Manufacturing Platforms (IMPs) and local administrations
- Developing a CCAP-Climate Change Action Plan Model as a template document to guide Industrial Manufacturing Platforms, referring to the principles of an action plan model based on a strategic planning approach
- Preparation of activity reports containing important information on local activities for the internalization of the Green Deal Policy, organizing study visits, preparing cooperation protocols
- For awareness raising preparation of infographics on climate change and its impacts, policy recommendations for local and national decision makers, a Climate Change Handbook for youth and the general public including a training tool and insights from experts and young focus group members involved in project activities.
Expected Outputs
– Establishment of Climate Change Action Plan (CCAP) Model for Industrial Production Platforms.
– Cooperation Protocols were signed between Industrial Production Platforms and/or local administrations of twin cities.
– A Climate Change Booklet was prepared.
