Technical Assistance for Town Twinning Between EU and Turkey  (Phase II) (Twinning for a Greener Future) is funded by the EU. The project is made up of four components that are simultaneously implemented: B.1. Improvement of the Capacity of Grant Beneficiaries, UMT and Key Stakeholders in Grant Management; B.2. Increasing the Publicity of the Programme and Awareness of Green Future Theme; B.3. Increasing the Environment Related Capacity of Staff of UMT, DEUA, UoP, MoEUCC and Several Local Authorities with the Capacity Building Activities; B.4. Mobility and Networking Assistance.

Main beneficiary of this project is Union of Turkish Municipalities, and co-beneficiaries are MFA EU Affairs Directorate, Union of Provinces, and Ministry of Environment, Urbanisation and Climate Change. The technical assistance is provided by the Eductrade Consortium. Contracting Authority of the project is CFCU. The project commenced on 1 March 2023 and will be implemented for 24 months until  March 2025.
