The Purpose of the Project
The project aims to strengthen the capacity of Türkeli Municipality to adapt to climate change through international cooperation.
Main Activities
- Preparation of the project website
- A study visit to Lithuania
- Preparation of SECAP Plan and opening for signature of mayors
- Conducting a study visit to Türkiye
- Conducting research on sustainable energy policies
- Awareness Campaigns
- Preparation of a Digital Information Platform
Expected Outputs
– Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plan and an awareness-raising action plan for sustainable energy consumption were prepared.
– Türkeli’s adaptation to climate change was increased through sustainable energy consumption and town twinning.
– Awareness of the public, especially young people, about the effects of climate change increased.
